Forum’s Key Lake Road project comprises seven claims in four three separate properties: Costco, Highrock, Karpinka, and Costigan, The properties are located south of Cameco’s Key Lake deposits, and are underlain by rocks that host all the known uranium deposits in the eastern Athabasca Basin. Most of the projects also host a major shear zone (the Key Lake Road Shear Zone) and/or associated cross-cutting structures.
Figure 1: Key Lake Road Area ProjectsThese 4 3 projects cover an area 25 km from north to south, and along three main conductive zones over a 40 km width. Outcrops with associated uranium showings occur in the south end of the project, while the north end (nearest the Key Lake mine site) is covered by sand and with no outcrop. The road to the Key Lake mine site runs through the middle of parallel to these properties, allowing for good year-round access.
